This 1956 Chevrolet 210 Wagon is being offered for the first time ever outside of its original family. It has been given the right care and investment over the years so that this southern classic remains a solid V8 cruiser.
The '56 is an awesome car. You have the exclusive wide grille, jet-inspired hood ornament, and full-length trim that artfully zooms down the sides. And Chevy even gave these wagons some extra beautiful touches, including the way the rear glass wraps around to the tailgate. The trim tag tells us the India Ivory and Tropical Turquoise are the factory-correct colors. It has a good gloss from a later restoration. We're told that this was purchased brand new by the consignor's great grandfather only about 30 minutes from our showroom. It was then given to her father who restored it in 2000. And pieces like the bright dual exhaust tips and polished 15-inch wheels are part of the right thoughtful upgrades to give you the look of a well-respected heirloom that also has the right classic cruiser style.

Description
The interior is the right mix of iconic style and real comfort. The two-tone of the exterior returns on the door panels as well as the dash. It has the great twin cowl design, and it goes with the chrome ring steering wheel for plenty of vintage flair. The way the doors close with confidence tells you it has been treated with care. The seats are the classic bench style, but these two rows have been recovered in velour for added comfort. And the carpeting and headliner nicely coordinate with it all. The split tailgate gives you access to the large cargo area, which makes this perfect for everything from showcasing your company's product to enjoying a ball game. It's a true driver, and so you get the right upgrades like a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner with aux input for better driving music, and the well-integrated auxiliary gauges give you better info about what's going on under the hood.
The VIN tag has this a VB-code Chevy, and that means it was born with V8 power. The 265 cubic-inch unit looks quite correct, and it's a year-correct block. So it's hard to believe this is anything but original in this single-family classic. The restoration added a touch of cruiser fun with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and a glasspack-style dual exhaust. Plus, the automatic transmission, power brakes, upgraded front discs, and wide BF Goodrich T/As make it a confident driver.
The sale comes complete with build receipts and the service manual. Rarely do you get a chance at a 65+ year family classic, and it's even more exceptional when it's an iconic Tri-Five Chevy. So this could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity you can't miss. Call now!
