LS BASED 6.0L, DUAL QUAD CARBS, 4 SPEED MANUAL, COLD A/C, FRONT DISC, AWESOME!

This 1957 Chevrolet 150 restomod is a thoughtfully cool mix of vintage and new. It loves to blend this idea everywhere from the classic trim to modern LS-based V8 with dual-quads on top. Plus, with an A/C interior, four-on-the-floor, and the best iconic pieces, this is an all-around awesome build.

The modern and classic blend starts with the paint. The trim tag tells us the Imperial Ivory and Inca Silver is the factory-correct two-tone. But today it's a modern application that really tells you this one was made to stand out a bit more. There's even a hint of metallic element in the silver to ensure this has the kind of luster that draws attention the moment the sunshine hits it. And the clean lines and straight body give the paint an excellent canvas. This sets the tone for an upgraded car that still wants to respect its history. The iconic front end continues to have a mirror-like shine on the bumper/grille combo that tells you there has been an investment here recently. The 150 model's trim dividing the two-tone is taken from the '55 Bel Air, and so it makes for quite a distinct style. And while those 20-inch US Mags wheels are pure modern cool, they have a silvery gray that ... Please ask for the full description.

And while those 20-inch US Mags wheels are pure modern cool, they have a silvery gray that harmonizes with the classic two-tone. See what we mean by a thoughtful total style?

The same classic with upgrades feeling continues inside. The two rows of bench seats are exactly what you're supposed to have in a 150 model, and the textured inserts have an awesome classic pattern. And it only gets better with the doors correctly repeating it all. The gray details of the upholstery, dash, and dual-spoke steering wheel look good against the deep black interior for a stylish setup. Plus, we bet you spotted the vents under the dash for the upgrade to cold-blowing air conditioning. And the floor shifter lets you know this car was made for fun.

The engine bay is one of the coolest layouts we've seen in quite some time. The bold orange block might just make you think this is a stock setup, but details like the serpentine belt setup will make you think twice. It's actually a modern 6.0-liter LS-based V8. It seems like a fun upgrade considering the Tri-Fives launched the small block V8 and LS is the series of motors that brought the small block era to its full end. Plus, there were a few Tri-Fives that were optioned with a street-eating dual four-barrel carburetor setup, and the unique setup pays tribute to that with two Edelbrock units sitting under the classic "batwing" air cleaner. And the Hedman headers feed into a rather straight set of dual exhaust pipes for the best in power and rumble. You get to take full advantage of this unique power package thanks to the Borg-Warner T10 four-speed manual transmission. Add in drilled & slotted front disc brakes, a 9-inch rear, new performance tires, and you can understand how this is a confident driving restomod.

This is one of the most unique ways to be both vintage and modern. So if you love a unique, powerful, and thoughtful build, call today!!!
