This 1958 Chevrolet Impala is truly a tidy classic. It has a tidy look with the bright paint; a tidy interior with plenty of classic details; and a tidy engine bay with a year-correct V8 power. Even the undercarriage is especially tidy. And the reason for this level of care and investment is because a coupe like this is one of the most interesting single-year designs out there.
Chevy only made this style for one year, and this was also the introduction of the now-iconic Impala nameplate. So with something this important, we're glad they took the time to get it looking so right. The Rio Red paint is a later application with a cruiser style and a terrific gloss. The result is a bright look of the optimistic 1950s out on the road. And you'll love the detail, too. The big re-chromed bumpers have a radiant shine, and the same goes for the wide/intricate grille. There's also straight sheet metal, complete badging, correct wheel covers, and we love the way the hint of white in the full-length trim goes with the correct Silvertown BFG Bias wide whitewall 800x14 tires and spinner hubcaps.
The red returns inside, which is great on a pillarless hardtop like this where people can easily see ... Please ask for the full description.

The red returns inside, which is great on a pillarless hardtop like this where people can easily see the full uniform appearance inside and out. It really is worth showcasing this factory style interior, because they made a nice investment here without straying from the vintage style. The bright seats get a cool tri-tone insert done in a comfortable cloth. It's a hallmark of the '58 Impala. Well-done door panels, a clear wraparound windshield, a taut headliner, date coded tinted glass and classic mats over plush new carpeting show off an awesome attention to detail. You'll even love the little things, like the working dome light and Wonderbar AM radio with modern internals. This is a full-sized Chevy, and so it's no trouble to carry everyone in style and comfort. But no matter how many people are along for the ride, you're going to love the time-warp style. It comes from the feeling of slipping behind the two-tone red and silver steering wheel that coordinates with the smooth and bright dash.
The engine bay is also part of this very vintage package. You've got a tidy look and some great details of bold Chevy orange block, bow tie valve covers, gloss black air grabber, Delco-Remy generator, and classic looking Delco battery but now an upgraded AGM battery. You'll also love telling people that this has a year-correct 348 cubic-inch motor at its heart. It inhales deeply with a four-barrel Carter carburetor, and the dual exhaust lets this exhale with a sweet tune. It's even fitted with a rebuilt Powerglide automatic transmission, harrison radiator, rebuilt front end, correct exhaust system and power steering to keep it period-correct while also a terrific cruiser. And as you look underneath, the photos show quite a fresh appearance, which include ne floor and trunk panels professionally welded. It even has the correct bumper jack! It tells you about the level of care in the restoration, and it also gives you more confidence in enjoying this classic to the fullest out on the road.
The sale comes complete with build receipts and restoration photos. It all makes one of the most distinctive American classics also a sharp-looking tidy cruiser. Call today!!!
